Huerta des Soto: Dazu ist ein tiefgreifender Neuentwurf des Finanzsystems nötig, der die Probleme bei der Wurzel packt: Die 100-prozentige Deckung von Sichteinlagen und ihren Äquivalenten als Grundprinzip des Privateigentums. Die Abschaffung aller Zentralbanken, die dann als Geldgeber der letzten Instanz überflüssig wären. Und dann die weltweite Rückkehr zum Goldstandard als einer Geldbasis, die durch die öffentlichen Mächte nicht manipuliert werden könnte.

Huerta de Soto: Das „Depositum irregulare“ ist im römischen Recht die Einlage eines verbrauchbaren Guts wie Weizen, Öl, oder Geld. Nur Darlehen darf sie gegen Zins investieren.
