Normalerweise meinen es die Medien nicht gut mit uns „Salafisten“, und so rate ich aus eigener Erfahrungen jedem orthodoxen Muslim davon ab, sich für Interviews o.ä. zur Verfügung zu stellen.

Interviews werden letztendlich fast immer zurecht geschnitten, damit am Ende bloß nichts übrig bleibt, was den „Salafisten“ als normalen Menschen darstellen könnte. Der Mainstream kann es sich einfach nicht erlauben, dem herrschenden Vorurteil ins Wort zu reden.

Anders hat es das libertäre Monatsmagazin eigentümlich frei getan. In der aktuellen Ausgabe des Blattes gibt es ein 5-seitiges Interview mit mir, ungeschnitten und zustande gekommen auf einer sehr fairen und freundlichen Basis.

Ich möchte mich an dieser Stelle recht herzlich beim gesamten Team des Magazins und vor allem beim Herausgeber André F. Lichtschlag dafür bedanken, dass man den Mut aufbringt, entgegen dem Mainstream auch Stimmen wie die meine zu hören und ihr auch eine Plattform zu bieten.

Als besonders mutig erachte ich die Veröffentlichung dieses Interviews zudem, weil es speziell unter der Stammleserschaft des ef-Magazins einen recht großen islamkritischen Anteil gibt. Es wurde mitunter auch schon mit Abo-Kündigungen gedroht, weil Texte von mir publiziert wurden.

Deshalb von mir an dieser Stelle ein wenig Werbung für das Magazin, das ich als einziges im Abo beziehe.

Probiert es einfach mal aus. Inhaltlich behandelt es Themen wie Wirtschaft und Politik, wobei es einen explizit freiheitlichen Standpunkt einnimmt. Gesellschaftlich ist es aber auch bemüht konservative Standpunkte zu bedienen. Religion wird meistens positiv konnotiert, aber es lässt auch sehr kritische Töne zu und ist mutig bei der Abkehr vom Mainstream.

WICHTIG: Das Interview befindet sich in der Mai-Ausgabe (Heft 152) und nicht in der April-Ausgabe. In manchen Kiosken liegen die alten Ausgaben noch recht lange im Regal.
