Ich möchte hier auf eine große Fehlinterpretation hinweisen, der viele von den heutigen Christen leider erlegen sind. Insbesondere diejenigen Christen, welche nur wenig Wissen über ihre Religion haben. (Was leider die meisten sind)
Wie wir alle wissen, ist die Bibel ein Buch, welches mehrere male in eine andere Sprache übersetzt wurde. Die deutsche Bibel wurde z.B. aus dem Lateinischen übersetzt. Die lateinische Bibel wiederum aus dem Griechischen, Aramäischen und Hebräischen. Bei diesen Übersetzungen sind ganz gewiß Fehler passiert, die aber von vielen heutigen Christen schlichtweg ignoriert werden.
So hält sich bei vielen heutigen Christen tapfer die Meinung, dass ein Christ nicht töten darf. Denn diese Tat würde den 10 Geboten und der Botschaft Christi widersprechen. Mit dieser Begründung verweigern z.B. bestimmte Gruppen unter den Christen den Wehrdienst. Andere widerum benutzen diese These um die christliche Religion zu verklären und als Inbegriff des Friedens und des Heils auf Erden darzustellen.
Aber es handelt sich hierbei um ein eindeutiges Fehlurteil.
Ich (als ehemaliger Christ) beschäftige mich mit diesem Thema, weil es häufig vorkommt, dass uns Muslimen von Christen vorgeworfen wird, dass wir Tötungsakte (wie z.B. die Todesstrafe oder das Töten im Kriegsfall) aus unserer Schrift herleiten und legitimieren.
Dies ist vollkommen richtig.
Der Islam verpflichtet das weltliche Oberhaupt eines Volkes, Stammes oder einer Nation, göttliches Recht und Gesetz einzuführen bzw aufrecht zu erhalten. Sinn und Zweck dieses Gesetzeskorpus ist der Schutz der Religion, des Lebens, der Abstammung, des Verstandes und des Eigentums aller Bürger und Schutzbefohlener, falls nötig auch durch bewaffnete Truppen, welche die Erlaubnis haben diesen Schutz mit Gewalt durchzusetzen.
Ebenfalls ist es fester Bestandteil der göttlichen Gesetze, dass bestimmte schwere Verbrechen, nach einer fairen und gerechten Gerichtsverhandlung und einem darauf folgendem rechtsgültigen Urteilsspruch, mit der Todesstrafe vergolten werden.
Im Judentum gibt es diese Gesetze ebenfalls. Auch nach dem jüdischen Recht ist die Todesstrafe und das Recht des Tötens für den Soldaten vorgesehen.
Und hier liegt auch der Schnittpunkt zum Christentum. Denn die gesamte Thora, inklusive der 10 Gebote, ist auch Teil des Alten Testaments der Bibel. Doch steht in der jüdischen Thora manchmal trotzdem etwas anderes als im Alten Testament der christlichen Bibel.
Suchen wir in einigen deutschsprachigen christlichen Bibeln nach den 10 Geboten, dann werden wir im 2. Buch Mose, Kapitel 20, Vers 13 fündig.
In der gängigen deutschen Übersetzung, nämlich der Luther-Bibel von 1912, heißt es dort:
Du sollst nicht töten
Ebenfalls in der revidierten Luther-Bibel von 1984 steht:
Du sollst nicht töten.
In der Schlachter Bibel von 1951:
Du sollst nicht töten!
In der Elberfelder Bibel von 1905:
Du sollst nicht töten.
Und auch die ursprüngliche Luther-Bibel von 1545 sagt:
DV solt nicht tödten.
Sehen wir jedoch in die Thora und lassen uns die Stelle von einem jüdischen Gelehrten erklären, dann kommt ein kleiner, aber feiner Unterschied zutage.

Also ist nicht nur die Bedeutung dieses Gebotes im Alten Testament falsch wiedergegeben, sondern auch jeglicher Bezug zu diesem Gebot im Neuen Testament. Denn eines ist wohl klar, Jesus Christus – Allah schenke ihm Heil- nahm sein Wissen nicht aus fehlerhaften römischen oder griechischen Übersetzungen, sondern war ein wissender und gelehrter Prophet (laut der meisten Christen gar GOTT), der die Schriften in ihrer Ursprungssprache kannte. So ist jeder Bezug von ihm und seinen Gefährten auf dieses Gebot, auf das MORDEN gemünzt und nicht auf das TÖTEN.
Das aber war den christlichen Gelehrten und Theologen natürlich bekannt. Nur das gemeine Volk, die Laien-Christen von heute, nehmen sich aus der Bibel was ihnen schmeckt und nehmen so auch gerne Übersetzungsfehler in kauf.
