  1. Habe ich das richtig verstanden. Ein US-Bürger muss sein im Ausland erwirtschaftete Einkommen an den amerikanischen Fiskus versteuern. Es gibt doch ein Doppelbesteuerungsabkommen mit den USA. Oder habe ich da was falsch verstanden???

    1. Doppelbesteuerungsabkommen gibt es sicherlich zwischen einigen/vielen Staaten, aber meines Wissens nicht zwischen allen. Zudem gilt dieses nur für bereits versteuertes Einkommen. Einkommen welches zwar im Ausland getätigt wurde, dort aber nicht einer Steuer unterliegt (wie bspw. Grundstücks- oder Immobilienverkäufe), muss hier in Deutschland versteuert werden. Zudem gilt, dass der Besteuerungssatz eine Rolle spielt. Ist ein Einkommen, das im Ausland getätigt wird, dort nur mit 5% besteuert, hier in Deutschland aber mit 10%, dann muss die Differenz hier in Deutschland entrichtet werden.

      Ich hoffe ich habe das so richtig erklärt, ist auch nicht mein Fachgebiet.
